Dr. Philip Robinson, a rheumatologist in Brisbane, Australia, is in the process of creating an international registry that will include information about COVID-19 specifically for patients with rheumatic disease, in particular, those receiving immunosuppressive therapies.

"We are building a registry for all patients with rheumatic diseases to track the development of COVID-19 infections. Both adults and parents of children with rheumatic diseases are invited to participate. We are hoping to learn how our community manages their condition during the COVID-19 outbreak. Patients can indicate how the management of their condition is affected by the outbreak, such as their medications, symptoms, and behaviors. We are looking to partner with organizations that support patients and their families living with rheumatic diseases," Dr. Robinson stated online.

The registry, called "COVID-19, the Global Rheumatology Community's Response to the Worldwide Pandemic," will serve as a COVID-19 information source for physicians and patients with rheumatic disease. For more information, visit the registry online or email:  rheum.covid.patient.registry@gmail.com.
