Identifying Affected Tissues and Disease Severity in PsA

Apr 14, 2017

From skin to joint issues, the list of symptoms associated with psoriatic arthritis is long and not every patient exhibits the same symptoms. In this slideshow, we highlight PsA symptoms and treatments.

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) requires a comprehensive care approach that includes the recognition of treatment risks. In this slideshow, we highlight recommended treatments and related risks associated with PsA. “The overall management of patients with PsA is complex and requires the adoption of a more patient-focused multidisciplinary approach,“ write Martin Bergman and Amy Lundholm in the March issue of Arthritis Research & Therapy. The authors point out that, “The clinical spectrum of PsA is extremely diverse in both disease severity and tissues affected, and this disorder often occurs in conjunction with several associated comorbidities.” For more information about the report, please see:  "Reducing Treatment Risks in PsA."
